Guidelines for Participation

New Year Olympiad (hereinafter referred to as the "Olympiad") with a unified set of tasks is available for all the interested participants.

The Olympiad will take place in a computerized format from 10:00 MSK on December 26, 2023 to 20:00 MSK on January 8, 2024.

To participate, you have to register on the Olympiad’s website siriusolymp.ru/en.

The duration of the tour is set for 120 minutes, although participants can complete the task solutions earlier if they wish.

The tour begins at 10:00 (UTC+3) on December 26, 2023, and ends at 20:00 (UTC+3) on January 8, 2023. Participants can start the tour at any time during this period. Once started, participants have the designated time to complete the tasks; however, the Olympiad must be completed no later than the end of the tour.

New Year is a family holiday, so you are welcome to solve the Olympiad tasks together with relatives and loved ones. The only prohibition is the use of the Internet to complete the tasks.

Within a few minutes after submitting the work, participants can review the results of the evaluation and access video explanations. The Olympiad tasks are assessed automatically by the testing system. Evaluation is carried out according to the criteria provided by the authors of the tasks.

Appeals regarding the content, the structure of the Olympiad tasks, the evaluation criteria and the assessment methods will not be considered or reviewed.
